This makes the reticle easier to see against dark backgrounds, which is especially helpful when hunting against a tree line or aiming at dark game such as black bear, moose, and other game animals hiding in the brush and timber. Aging eyes can also appreciate the benefit of this heavier minute of angle (MOA) reticle design with 1 MOA hash marks. Only the center section of the reticle illuminates, providing a most effective and precise point of aim in low-light environmental conditions.
